Description

Ceylon Avocado Seasoning is a finely balanced spice blend for avocado toast, guacamole and bowls. All the spices it contains come from Sri Lanka and are brought together in a recipe that needs no salt and no fillers.

The blend tastes fresh, earthy and mildly spicy and is finely and evenly ground. This means it can be measured out evenly and used both before and during cooking.

Flavour profile & taste

Black pepper and coriander give the blend an earthy, clear base note. Cumin provides warmth, lemongrass freshness and chilli flakes a mild, visible piquancy.

Origin

100 % origin Sri Lanka: Every ingredient in this blend comes from Sri Lanka. This keeps the origin of the entire recipe clear and traceable, even though several spices are combined.

The exact composition is shown in full on the product page and later on the label. The resealable pouch contains 100 g of spice blend.

Use

Ceylon Avocado Seasoning was developed for avocado toast, guacamole and bowls. The blend can be sprinkled on dry, stirred with oil or added directly while cooking.

  • Avocado toast: Sprinkle directly over the mashed or sliced avocado.
  • Guacamole: Mix with lime juice, salt and avocado.
  • Bowls: Use as a finish for rice, vegetable or salad bowls.
  • Dips: Stir into cream cheese, yoghurt or plant-based alternatives.

Dosage: For one avocado, start with about 1/2 tsp. Add lime and salt separately, then adjust the seasoning to taste.
